Benson is the oldest canine member of our clan. He is inseparable from family members, adores fetch, and will contentedly sniff all manner of outdoor objects for as long as we're content to walk. Born in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia, Benson has been part of our family for 9 years.
When Benson turned 5, we switched him from a kibble diet to fresh foods in an effort to improve his health. Before the change, Benson's blood panels showed several concerning signs - from high cholesterol and lymphocytes to low platelet count and neutrophils. Fresh food had an incredible impact. Not only did Benson's bloodwork improve over the next twelve months, we also observed improvements in his fur, skin condition, and energy levels. Benson LOVES fresh food and will happily obey commands in exchange for a stalk of broccoli, celery, or carrot (and especially diced meat!). These positive changes have been sustained to the present day and we've maintained this diet.
In December 2023 we decided to launch Benson's Bowl and bring his diet to a broader community of pets. Our meals are prepared in small batches with fresh ingredients, lightly cooked, and shipped frozen for your pet. We use absolutely no fillers, additives, or preservatives. We're excited to share Benson's diet with other pet lovers!
